Steeped is an app in development, made by an independent developer. Right now this website does two things: it lets you join the waitlist, and it helps us learn which kind of Bible study women want most. This page explains exactly what we collect to do that.
What we collect
- Your email, only if you type it in, so we can tell you when Steeped launches.
- Which page you visited and which buttons you tapped on it.
- Your type of device (iPhone, Android, or computer). We work this out from the information your browser sends, then keep only the device type, not the full browser details.
- Where the link came from (TikTok, Instagram, or X), when the link tells us.
- Your country, which our hosting provider works out from your connection. We keep only the country, not your IP address.
We don't store your IP address. We don't use cookies, ad trackers, or tracking pixels.
Why
To email you when Steeped launches, and to decide what to build first, whether to start with iPhone, Android, or both, and which countries to focus on.
What we won't do
- We won't sell or rent your information.
- We won't email you about anything other than the launch unless you clearly ask us to.
Who else handles it
This site runs on Cloudflare, which stores the waitlist and counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a tool that doesn't use cookies. Our email is handled through Cloudflare and Google (Gmail).
Deleting your information
Email hello@steepedbible.com from the address you signed up with, and we'll delete it. You can also reply to any email we send you.
Children
Steeped is not made for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If the change affects how we use your email, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
